World, Shops & Treasure: Mall, Sewers, Catacombs & Town

A navigation hub for town, farm, Mall, Sewers, Lakefront, Old Woods and Catacombs — what each place is for, without fake map pins.

Checked Sep 3, 2026 Game state: Pre-release / public demo + current prelaunch data
Before Sep 10, 2026: The full game is still unreleased. Numbers and routes below are from the public demo, Steam, and the current official wiki unless marked otherwise.

Region roles at a glance

  • Town — residents, stores, news, task starts and social progression.
  • Farm / Ranch — crops, animals, processing and the Tax Man cycle.
  • Mall — early dungeon, Mall Mines, named bosses, vending-machine abilities and a unique indoor fishing pool.
  • Sewers — gated routes, Maggot / Garbage Man vendors, and the walk toward the Lakefront.
  • Lakefront — Fisherman Herb, first fishing-rod progression and several fishing-related encounters.
  • Old Woods — campsite, Mill, secret routes, rare bugs/fish and multiple task chains.
  • Catacombs — later shrines and tasks plus its own Firefly fishing table.

Town shops with progression value

The General Store currently sells tools such as the Shovel, inventory upgrades, bait packs, equipment and cooking ingredients. The farm shop (Old Man Crawford in current wiki data) is the usual source for basic farming tools, Cleansing Balm and scarecrows. Special vendors rotate; the Garbage Man in the Sewers restocks on Mondays and Thursdays in current wiki notes.

Mall

The Mall is the first large indoor dungeon after town. Current wiki headings list Ultra Video, Sports Planet, an empty store, a Music Store, the Food Court, Mall Mines, F1 hallways, offices and an Administrator’s Pool. Those names are the rooms that exist on the wiki; floor-by-floor loot tables are still incomplete, so this page does not invent chest contents.

The indoor hallway pool is a real fishing spot: Stalktopus with Bug bait is the current Mall catch, and it is needed for a Mall task.

Mall combat currently includes Hall Monitor, Mall Administrator and Denizen of the Deep Fryer. See the enemies hub for those routes.

Sewers

The Sewers are the underworld connector, not a side curiosity. Current wiki / demo notes:

  • Fish Rot Puffer and Slimefish on F1 with a rod and Maggots.
  • Forage Slimeweed.
  • Expect Dripper and Pipe Cleaner enemies.
  • Several entrances stay locked until tasks open them.
  • A Gatekeeper key-recovery chain and the Garbage Man vendor sit here.
  • One of the main uses is reaching the Lakefront east of the entrance below the local store.

Exact treasure-map coordinates are not published here.

Catacombs

The Catacombs are a later shrine / task hub. Current fishing there uses Firefly bait: Cave Serpent, Bonefish, Shyfish, Ancient Angler and Mud Serpent. God follower rooms also appear on Catacombs floors in current wiki data — see Gods & rituals. Floor geometry and a full POI map wait for the Sep 10 build.

Mines

Current wiki lists Beginner Mines, Mall Mines (F1–F3) and Old Woods Mines (F2–F3). They are ore / combat slices attached to those regions, not separate games. Forging still happens at the Workshop.

Treasure rule

Treasure is worth writing down when it unlocks a recipe, key item, combat option, permanent stat or a task route. Listing every chest as its own page does not help a stuck player.

Map policy

The site ships a progression schematic now. A coordinate-accurate interactive map waits until full-release screenshots and POI evidence are strong enough to avoid invented marker positions.
